There is a person or persons who lives in a flat very close to me who smokes cannabis. I sit in my own living room and I can smell it. I open the door to my flat and it’s so strong I can taste it and as far as I am concerned this should not be happening.

I’ve approached my Landlord, Jigsaw Homes Group on a number of occasions and they have done nothing about it. So today, not only have I reported it to Jigsaw Homes Group, I have also reported it to Nottinghamshire Police.

I don’t expect any response from Jigsaw Homes Group but I am rather disgusted by the response I had from Nottinghamshire Police who told me to go and find out who is smoking it and let them know otherwise there is nothing they can or will do about it and maybe after I make 7 or 8 phone calls reporting they might do something.

Is that really the depths we have fallen to!

I feel a letter to the Chief Constable, Crime Commissioner and my MP coming on!
