Going through some of my photographic archives I came across this wonderful photograph of my family at my Uncle Frank’s wedding which must date to the mid 70s.

While I love that so many of my extended paternal family are in this photograph, I love even more the simplicity and genuineness of it. Wedding photographs and wedding for that matter are so fake and staged these days that they are no longer reality. This however is exactly how it was.

Maybe we need to get back to this sort of thing more often in everyday life.
