I set about rejigging my big Dell monitor from landscape to portrait mode yesterday and I’m really impressed with the results.

In it landscape mode it was great but I really never got the best use out of it’s screen area. I could run my logbook or another application but not side by side satisfactorily. In portrait mode I can have one application running at the top of the screen while a second application runs on the bottom half and both are a usable size.
