So…….We wake up to a new Labour government this Friday morning.

First of all I’m not in the slightest bit surprised because in my opinion Rishi Sunak lost the election on the day he announced it would take place several weeks ago.

There Has been way too much infighting in the Conservative party in the last 5 years and like all political parties who are in power for more than 10 years they go into self-destruct mode.

Secondly, I really don’t see any difference between any of the parties who stood for government because they are all intimately restricted by world events and markets and at the same time in it for what they can get out of it.

The only for me is that I was getting concerned that Rishi Sunak was becoming increasingly “transphobic” and I felt he was jumping on the JK Rowling bandwagon which left unchecked could have had serious consequences for people like me. At least Labour have taken a starting position that is a little more open to trans people.
