This year I’ve been watching some of the wildlife outside of my flat at night on my security camera. Turns out that if I point it out the window and turn off the night vision (a little counter intuitive) it will record excellent quality video just with the street light.

One of the best things I get to watch are the badgers who seem to spend may hours walking and running up and down the pathway around my flat. I’m actually really amazed at how close to my window and therefore me they get.

I also get to see a wonderful fox walking about and I am starting to suspect there is a barn owl out there but I’ve only captured a fleeting glimpse of something larger than a pidgin and white at night.
