I’ve been wanting to do this for a little while and it should have been much higher on my To-Do list but this past week I’ve set to and substantially beefed up the security of the CMS of my blog (the backend).

I’m not going to go into any details for obvious reasons but I will say that I’m very happy with what I’ve done (to both of my blogs). And it seems I did it just at the right time. On Saturday I got 2 emails from my security system saying it had blocked 2 IP Addresses for attempting to log into my blog.

So a real world test confirmed my security system worked as it said it would do.
