A little ventilation needed

After adding the Yaesu FTM-150 into the boot of my car I started to think about it being in a sealed metal box and the chances of it over heating on TX. So the simple solution was to add some ventilation.

2x50mm holes in the lid allow for the free flow of air in and out of the box along with a 12v CPU fan to assist with that air movement. Simply wired into the same 12v power supply as the radio to keep everything neat and tidy, everything help in place with huge dollops of hot glue and any possible over heating fixed (I hope).
