Bravo Xray - slow down dude!

Listening to 40 meters this morning and there’s an Italian station banging away “I7BX Contest” over and over again endlessly without any break or pause to listen for someone trying to get back to him. I tried for about 20 minutes to get back to him even trying to just give the first half of my callsign to get in quick but before I could get the first word out he was banging away again!

I have to ask what’s the point in shouting out if your not going to take even just a few seconds to listen for anyone getting back to him. It wasn’t even as though there were people queuing up to reply. there was nobody.

Everyone to their own I guess!
