I’ll be the first to confess that I’m out of touch with the latest computer hardware. I will always have a good understanding but details are not so important to me these days because I just don’t build, upgrade or repair computers anymore. So when I ordered a new NVMe M.2 drive for my PC, I just thought there were 2 sizes. Long and short.
Turns out there are 5 sizes!!!! WHY
As is normal in life I ordered the wrong size, the 2230, when I should have ordered the 2242 version.
Rather than sending it back I have found that you can order adapter plats to add the missing length to the SSD I currently have.
It arrives tomorrow and we will see how it works out. I’m not confident.
